A boy's interest in science, a year of work, and $250 have produced "Harvey," a 200-pound robot, and made his creator, Benton Alvin Durley III, one of the most discussed freshmen at Mississippi Southern college, Hattiesburg. Durley, who plans to be an electrical engineer, was born in Tylertown, Mississippi but lived for several years with his parents in Falls Church, Virginia, where his father is an office employee of the atomic energy commission.
