This is an original press photo. White, Pearl. New York. Last week we left Pauline in mid-air after the cowardly villain had tossed her off a cliff in the "Perils of Pauline". To our great delight we discovered this week that the hero happened to be at the foot of the cliff taking a bath in the limpid waters of a placid pool. The placid pool coupled with the extraordinary condicence of the hero's presence saved Pauline and foiled the villain. Here you see the rescue of Pauline. This is one of the scenes that thrilled us in the days when Pearl White was "tops" in movies.
