It is the General Motors experimental Firebird III, one of the first cars designed around a single stick control system which eliminates the conventional steering wheel, brake pedal and accelerator. The car has two engines, one an improved gas turbine at the rear to drive the wheels, and the other, a 10 horsepower pistol engine in the front to power the car's accessories.
