The creative skills of sculptors, technical training of the tool-makers, anatomical analysis of paleontologists are few of many highly trained specialized knowledges that are welded by producer Irwin Allen to create for Warner Bros. his wide-screen, WarnerColor production, "The Animal World." This sequence depicting early life on our planet took 18,700 man-hours of research and 1400 hours in the Warner Bros. craft shops utilizing all the special talents of man and machine. Irwin Allen compares miniature Brontosaurus with enlarged detail for close-ups. Photo is dated 3-29-1956.
