30 foot fiberglass dragon sculpture by artist Terese Agnew, which perched on the
North Point Water Tower in 1985, was loaded on a truck to be taken to the
Milwaukee Boys & Girls Club Camp Whitcomb/Mason, the club's non-profit camp
for children aged 6 to 12. It will be placed in a grove of pine trees at the
camp on Lake Keesus near Merton in Waukesha County. Photo measures 6.5 x
9.5inches. Photo is dated 06-15-1987.

Workers loaded artist Terese Agnew's 30-foot-long sculpture of a dragon onto a
truck so it could be taken to Camp Whitcomb / Mason, a camp operated by the Boys
& Girls Club on Lake Keesus near Merton in Waukesha County. The dragon, with
its iridescent scales, was displayed in 1985 on Milwaukee's North Point Tower.
Agnew said the dragon would be placed "in a grove of pine trees, a perfect
fantasy setting to enhance storytelling sessions with groups of children."Photo
measures 9.75 x 7.5inches. Photo is dated 6-15-1987.

1985 Press Photo Artist Terese Agnew & crew hoist dragon sculpture into place
This is an original press photo.
Artist Terese Agnew & her crew watched as her 30 foot dragon was hoisted
into place by a crane Tuesday on the North Point Water Tower. The Fiberglass
dragon will be mounted on the Victorian Gothic tower at the end of North Ave on
the lakefront and displayed for about one week. Agnew created the dragon in an
effort to get art out of the museums and into the community. Photo measures 7.25
x 10inches. Photo is dated 10-22-1985.
